Do you Believe in Angels? Recent Research shows 7 out of 10 Americans Do

When it comes to religion and spiritual beliefs, understanding the numbers of who believes what is really important. This is the reason they do studies and polls to keep track of the ever changing beliefs of our society. 

This poll conducted by the Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research  shows the recent results of various belief systems including, astrology, which is something I believe very strongly in. This poll was conducted in May 2023 at the University of Chicago, with 1680 adults. 



According to the poll, more than 80% believe there are some things that just can't be explained by science. The numbers I found very interesting, were the amount of people who believe in heaven out weighed the percentage of people who believe in hell. To me that shows that people are more optimistic and positive minded than negative. 

American’s belief in angels (69%) is about on par with belief in heaven and the power of prayer, but bested by belief in God or a higher power (79%). Fewer U.S. adults believe in the devil or Satan (56%), astrology (34%), reincarnation (34%), and that physical things can have spiritual energies, such as plants, rivers or crystals (42%).

Overall as a spiritual advisor, my business kind of relies on people believing in the unseen, and although only 34% of the people currently believe in astrology, I believe that this number will grow with education of planetary influence on our existence on earth. Which is something I teach on my online platforms.

16. Opinion (Local Issue)

  My Opinion on SAU Meals  As a student here at SAU since 2021 I have only recently started eating on campus, this year I opted for a Commuter Meal Plan to help save money and time in between my busy schedule. I'm not going to just complain in this post but I do want to share my opinion on SAUs meal options. I'm gonna share the good, the bad, and things that I would like to change about our food options on campus. The Good  The things that I do like about our meal options here at SAU is the variety of options, we have Chic-Fi-La, Tacos for Life, Panda Express, Subway, Starbucks and of course there is the cafe, to some this may not be enough variety but I do think it's enough different types of foods to satisfy my cravings during the week. Personally I go to Chic-fi-la and Subway the most but I do go to the cafe every Wednesday because they serve soul food.  I like that they have Starbucks here and they have a snack bar with various fruits, sandwiches, for a quick bit...

 GTA Fans show excitement for Grand Theft Auto 6  Grand Theft Auto is a popular video game based on stealing cars, wreaking havoc, shootouts and more R-rated content. The first version of the game came out in 1997 and it has been over a decade since a new version has been released. GTA 6 is set to release in 2025 by Rockstar Games, who is also responsible for other popular games like Red Dead Redemption.  Personally I'm not much of a video game player but I knew it had to be a pretty big deal when my brother asks if I had seen the trailer. After watching the trailer I was super impressed with the realistic graphics and characters. It looks like a movie honestly and I think I would actually enjoy playing it for the storyline.  I expect to see and hear a lot more about this game in the next year leading up to it's release in 2025, both good and bad.
