Biden Administration aims to combat 'Anti Semitism' on College Campuses 

Since the start of the 'Isreal-Hamas' war started in early October there has been an alarming increase in antisemitic incidents across college campuses across the United States. The departments of Justice and Homeland Security are working with campus law enforcement to monitor online hate speech and will provide federal resources to schools. 

Leading Jewish organizations are concerned with the antisemitic and hateful rhetoric that has been revealed during this time. The Education Department is conducting visits across the U.S. to address this issue. 

“These grotesque sentiments and actions shock the conscience and turn the stomach. They also recall our commitment that can’t be forgotten: ‘never again," White House spokesman Andrew Bates said. 

Dozens of new federal government actions have been introduced by the Biden administration, to increase awareness and protect Jewish communities.  

The White House has also recently increase outreach efforts to Muslim, Arab and Palestinian American communities.

16. Opinion (Local Issue)

  My Opinion on SAU Meals  As a student here at SAU since 2021 I have only recently started eating on campus, this year I opted for a Commuter Meal Plan to help save money and time in between my busy schedule. I'm not going to just complain in this post but I do want to share my opinion on SAUs meal options. I'm gonna share the good, the bad, and things that I would like to change about our food options on campus. The Good  The things that I do like about our meal options here at SAU is the variety of options, we have Chic-Fi-La, Tacos for Life, Panda Express, Subway, Starbucks and of course there is the cafe, to some this may not be enough variety but I do think it's enough different types of foods to satisfy my cravings during the week. Personally I go to Chic-fi-la and Subway the most but I do go to the cafe every Wednesday because they serve soul food.  I like that they have Starbucks here and they have a snack bar with various fruits, sandwiches, for a quick bit...

 GTA Fans show excitement for Grand Theft Auto 6  Grand Theft Auto is a popular video game based on stealing cars, wreaking havoc, shootouts and more R-rated content. The first version of the game came out in 1997 and it has been over a decade since a new version has been released. GTA 6 is set to release in 2025 by Rockstar Games, who is also responsible for other popular games like Red Dead Redemption.  Personally I'm not much of a video game player but I knew it had to be a pretty big deal when my brother asks if I had seen the trailer. After watching the trailer I was super impressed with the realistic graphics and characters. It looks like a movie honestly and I think I would actually enjoy playing it for the storyline.  I expect to see and hear a lot more about this game in the next year leading up to it's release in 2025, both good and bad.
